The demise of our Papaya tree. We came home from work to find that the tree had fallen over. I just did not have enough root depth

We now have mushrooms growing at the base of the tree but do not know if they are edible.

I have collected all the papaya to give to the members. They use green papaya for cooking and making pickle so not all is wasted. I have given up growing tomato plants as twice some one has pulled up my tomatoes. I also had been growing an avocado tree but a builder decided to pour a pile of cement he had over on top of it. I do not think that my gardening efforts are appreciated. I have started giving all my gardening things to Apple as she has a roof garden she is cultivating.
