Free hair cuts to the local members and children from three local Barangay(Villages).

The word Barangay comes from the word Balangay meaning boat. When the people arrived in their boats the formed each boat load into into groups and became Barangay( Bof M?)
There were three of us cutting hair that day
Please notice the size of the scissors being used by this Brother. They are the size of dressmaking scissors. I was fasinated. He did really great hair cuts

Sister Walker had a young friend from USA who brought supplies to this School as part of his Scout project, we visited round break time to chech if it would be OK to visit this school when he came over. The young boy in the picture is pumping water to take back to his classroom for his fellow pupils to drink.
Many people do not have running water in their homes and can be seen washing at the pumps on the side of the road.

These are the children that received the supplies from Sister Walkers young friend. I was not present on that occasion so do not have any pictures of the event, but all was well received.

I think we caused a bit of disruption to the class by our arrival just before break time. The children just loved having their pictures taken

One young girl was working very hard copying from her book. All students learn English from an early age.

The back of Sister GiGi our office assistant maqnager talking with the class teacher.
A local School we visited where a young friend of of Sister Walker's brought over school equipment toys sweets, clothing and shoes as part of his Eagle Scout Project.
